Job Description:
Responsible for the receiving, shipping, delivering, and inspection of aircraft parts.
Ensure that all receiving and shipping records comply with the company’s Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM).
Prepare and pack crates/skids/boxes for freight shipments.
Prepare domestic and international shipping documentation as required, including BOLs, Commercial invoices, and packing slips.
Control quarantine stores as per the company’s policy.
Properly issue and retrieve tools to and from aircraft mechanics to support production.
Review tool calibration reports and tool calibration dates.
Maintain inventory, including shelf life and counts
Performs physical cycle count and year-end count of materials held in inventory and records surplus materials and equipment.
Maintains departmental WHMIS program requirements.
Ability to prioritize workload requests.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or training in a field, ideally in the automotive or aviation industry, and/or part procurement.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively; must be able to meet the physical demands of a warehouse-like environment subject to dust, noise, and other distractions. Walking, climbing, and bending are to be considered repetitive daily activities.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail, ability to meet regular deadlines, and effective time management are required

Probation: 6 months from the start of the first day scheduled to work
Please note: This is not an Apprentice AME position. You will not be eligible to get signed off on tasks. The time will not be counted towards your Apprenticeship time
