Your expertise ensures our fleet — including ATR 72-500, Dash 8-100/200/300, Basler DC3 Turbo Conversion, and PC-12 series aircraft — continues to operate safely and reliably in Canada’s unique northern environment.  When positions are available, AME’s are given the opportunity to transfer bases if desired.

Qualifications:

·       Must have M1 and/or M2 license.
·       Ability to obtain necessary airport security clearances and successfully complete the company screening process.
·       PC12, Dash 8, ATR and/or Basler experience an asset
·       Ability to make timely and informed decisions in a high-pressure environment.
·       Must hold a valid Canadian driver’s license.
·       Must have own non-specialized tools
·       Ability to lift 50 LBS

Selection Criteria:
·       Concern for Safety: Identifying hazardous and potential hazards while taking appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for NSA staff.

·       Customer Service: Providing service excellence to internal and external customers.
·       Communication: Listening and communication openly, honestly, effectively and respectfully with diverse audiences.
·       Organization: Must be flexible and organized with the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.
·       Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
·       Positive attitude and a willingness to learn, self-motivated.

Working Conditions:
·       Overtime as required
·       Weekend work required

Schedule:
·       12 hour shift – 2 weeks on 2 weeks off (YTH, YYU, YPL)
·       12 hour shift – 1 week on 1 week1 off (YQT)

·       Afternoon/Evening shift premium per hour
