Precision Aero Components Inc., located in Mississauga, Ontario, is now accepting applications for the position of Component Shop – Mechanics.

Precision Aero Components is a Transport Canada-approved maintenance repair facility, specializing in Electrical, Hydraulic, Fuel, and Landing Gear components for over 30 years.

Purpose of Position: To maintain aircraft components per OEM and Transport Canada Standards and carry out maintenance tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out repairs and overhauls to shop components in accordance with company procedures and all regulatory requirements.
Certify repairs to aircraft components.
Repair, overhaul, and test starters, starter/generators, AC generators, DC blowers, etc.
Understand electrical components, read electrical schematics, and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
Maintain the work area in a neat and tidy condition.
Become familiar with Transport Canada Company manuals and documents.
Follow company procedures in the completion of your duties.
Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
Perform various cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

No experience necessary; best suited for mechanically inclined individuals.
Technical adeptness in electrical components.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
Effective communication skills in both written and verbal English.
Pay: Based on experience
