I am honoured to be the President of the AME Association of Ontario.
I graduated from the Aircraft Maintenance Technician training program at Centennial College’s Ashtonbee campus in 1987 and began my career as an AME at Buttonville Airport. After a brief period at a Cessna Service Ctr there, I exited the aviation world until I was drawn back, in 1994. Since then, I have worked in Corporate Aviation as an AME maintaining a Westwind 1124 & a Challenger 601-3R in a Corporate Flight Dept (1994-2000). I also spent 8 years at another Corporate Dept, maintaining a Gulfstream GIV SP & a Beech Baron (2000-2008). I then worked as a Full Time Professor at my alma mater (Centennial) from 2008 until 2016. A brief stint at Mohawk College, teaching in their Aircraft Maint Program. I also worked for a year as an AME with the great staff at Chartright Air Group and then an 8 month stint with Bombardier Aerospace, Toronto, in the role of Advisor, Organizational Learning.
As of October, 2019, I have been employed as an Instructor and Curriculum Designer for CAE Commercial Aircraft Maintenance Training.
I am always looking for new ways to help to “Represent, Promote & Mentor” in this industry that has provided so many excellent opportunities for me during my career. I have made some awesome lifelong friends during my time in aviation.
I enjoy volunteering on the Board of Directors and I hope to be able to serve our Members for many more years.
Many big objectives are on the horizon, please stay tuned.

Hello!!
Just a short bit about me since most of my info is on my LinkedIn page…
I’ve been attending board meetings pretty consistently since approximately 2017. I have managed to volunteer in a few separate capacities and now have stepped up to stand as Secretary for the group. I feel that it is very valuable to be a part of the Board of Directors and enjoy the opportunity to be around like minded individuals. I thoroughly enjoy contributing where I can to help the organization grow and give back to our communities.
